There are a lot of movies that take Shakespeare ideas and make them there own. One such movie is The Notebook. This movie is actually a lot like Romeo and Juliet. And they most likely read the play to prepare for the movie.
The movie, the notebook is a like in that it has: Star-crossed lovers. they fall in love then get separated, but in the end their love will not be denied. Both the movi and the play portray love above all else.
